About P3
Poly Patao Productions (P3) -- (Pah-Lee Pah-Tow-Prow-duc-shuns)
was created to address a critical gap in sex-positive culture—spaces that too often excluded marginalized communities.
More than twenty-five years ago, Ignacio Rivera (Papí Coxxx) recognized the need for radical inclusion and began building environments where people of color, particularly within LGBTQI communities, could claim their rightful place in conversations about sexual liberation.
Drawing from lived experiences with homelessness, poverty, and sexual trauma, Rivera built P3 as both sanctuary and movement—a network of workshops, play parties, and mentorship opportunities centering people of color and expanding access to erotic freedom.
At its height, P3 became known internationally for transforming sex-positive culture through intersectional praxis. Each gathering, workshop, and collaboration challenged exclusion, bridged education with pleasure, and cultivated communities grounded in autonomy, consent, and joy.
Although the large-scale events of P3 have since concluded, Rivera
continues to work under the P3 banner in more intimate and intentional ways—facilitating private or traveling play spaces, leading workshops on sexual liberation, and mentoring a new generation of practitioners and organizers.
At its core, P3 remains a living philosophy: a commitment to amplifying the voices of those historically left out of discussions on sex and sexuality, and to ensuring that erotic exploration is recognized as both political act and pathway to healing.
This ethos continues through Worth Remembering: The P3 Legacy Project--an evolving archival effort to document, celebrate, and preserve over two decades of erotic community-building, radical joy, and collective transformation.
Through this project, Ignacio invites those who have been part of P3’s journey to share their memories, stories, and artifacts, ensuring that this movement of liberation and pleasure is not only remembered but continues to inspire the generations to come.
