Worth Remembering: The P3 Legacy Project

Worth Remembering is a multimedia oral history and archival initiative documenting the erotic, cultural, and political impact of Poly Patao Productions (P3)—a groundbreaking series of play parties, workshops, and liberation spaces founded by Ignacio Rivera (Papí Coxxx).
This living archive gathers the memories of those who attended, organized, or were influenced by P3’s radical vision of inclusion and sexual freedom. Through stories, images, and testimonies, the project ensures that the legacy of QTBIPOC-led sexual liberation work is preserved and honored as part of global history.
This project is both an archive and a celebration—a living record ensuring that Ignacio Rivera’s decades-long body of work in sexual liberation, sex positivity, and anti-violence is preserved, witnessed, and contextualized within social justice and erotic freedom movements.
It invites those touched by Rivera’s work—directly or indirectly—to share stories, memories, and reflections: the parties, the laughter, the firsts, the lessons, the freedom felt in spaces they created when few existed for QTBIPOC people.
The project stands as both personal testimony and cultural history—a way to make visible the often unseen labor, erotic creativity, and leadership that shaped generations of liberated communities.
